How to Make Money From Home

I know that surviving on a one income household is hard, but throw into the mix two kids, and it is even harder. Thankfully we have a roof over our heads and are able to eat daily. But there are times when you wish you want to treat yourself or your family a little vacation. While doing surveys and selling on eBay are some ways to make money, it just isn't enough. So why not try selling crafts you have made, or trying to sell your books that you don't read anymore. It may not be a lot of money, but hey, you will get someone who will want to buy your stuff. I have tried to do all these things, and I tell ya, I have made about $300 in 3 months. Granted it isn't a whole bunch of money, but at least I got rid of some of my stuff and made money on it. I may not be as creative as others on the internet when it comes to making money, but at least I'm trying to see what will work for me. I have bought (regrettably) many eBooks on how to make money on the internet, and a lot of times it was just links to another site that wanted to charge me more money so that I could join an "exclusive" site. Definitely not worth it. So I thought, why not just try to make money trying to declutter my home, and also selling stuff I have crocheted. So far, for me it is working, not making tons of money, but at least I can afford to splurge just a little bit. If you have any other ideas on how to make money at home, please feel free to post comments on it. Thanks!

Gano Excel Products (Ganoderma Lucidum)

About Ganoderma Lucidum
What is Ganoderma Lucidum?

Ganoderma Lucidum is the scientific name of the mysterious Red Mushroom that grows on only 2 out of 10,000 aged wild plum trees found in the dense and humid high mountain forests of Asia. Also known as Reighi, Lingzhi, and Yeongji, it was crowned by the ancient Chinese as the "Miraculous King of Herbs," due to its superior attributes which have stood the test of time for over 4,000 years. To date, no known herb has ever challenged its superiority. With good reason, thousands of scientific studies published on the Internet document growing confidence in its astonishing immunomodulating and adaptogenic properties.
Myth or Hope?

Ganoderma Lucidum has been shrouded in mystery for more than 4,000 years. Attributed with almost mythical properties by the ancients of Asia, this striking burgundy red mushroom with its shiny skin has recently surfaced as an object of hope for millions around the globe. Imbued with properties that help optimize every function of the body, Ganoderma has been studied by top scientists for a multitude of uses. Over and over, it has been shown to have benefits as an:

Blood pressure regulator
Cholesterol reducer
Blood sugar moderator
Cardiovascular enhancer
Kidney, liver, & nerve tonic
Immune booster
Heavy metal detoxifier

Once so rare in nature that it was available only to royalty upon penalty of death, modern cultivation methods have made it available to the masses. After years of research and preparation, Gano Excel exclusively offers you the most potent, nutrient-dense, standardized extract you can buy!

In 1997 we came up with the most brilliant delivery medium ever conceived. We discovered that Ganoderma Lucidum’s bitter taste blends perfectly with COFFEE (actually enhancing the bittersweet, savory taste). As the richest source of Organic Germanium known, and purveyor of over 200 additional Phyto nutrients, Ganoderma further legitimizes our claim that we offer THE WORLD’S FIRST CHOICE of a healthier coffee.
The Science

In 1983, Malaysian scientist Leow Soon Seng identified six varieties of Red Ganoderma Lucidum demonstrating a high therapeutic value. He further determined that the Malaysian climate, with its saturated humidity and constant temperature (averaging 85° F or 30° C), was highly conducive to Ganoderma cultivation. Using tissue cultured from the original 6 superior specimens he isolated, Mr. Leow was able to produce exact replicas with identical properties and potency. Germinated in a rich growth medium (blended from paddy husks, brown rice flour and rubber tree scraps) and cultivated in a highly controlled environment, Mr. Leow was able to consistently produce a nutrient-dense, organic Ganoderma Lucidum extract that would ensure the highest therapeutic value possible.

Gano Excel owns and operates the world's largest environment-friendly, organic Ganoderma Plantation. Our enclosed planting sheds utilize sophisticated and modern technology that protects the Ganoderma from its natural enemies, while preserving a pristine growth environment.

Ganoderma takes approximately 3 months to mature; and the cultivation process is closely supervised so that the Ganoderma is harvested only when the nutrients have reached their apex. Even exposure to the sun is tightly controlled in order to produce the highest quality mushrooms possible, with the greatest therapeutic value.
The Innovator

Gano Excel is a global company, founded in 1995, and owns the largest organic Ganoderma Lucidum plantation in the world. In our state-of-the-art laboratories, we create a standardized, proprietary extract from the six most potent varieties of red mushrooms that are impossible for competitors to replicate. Marketing our unique extract in a variety of presentations, we are approaching $500 million in worldwide retail sales.

In our internationally certified manufacturing facilities (ISO 9001:2000 & GMP), we blend our exclusive Ganoderma extract with the world's finest coffee beans, which we roast to perfection, percolate and then spray dry to avoid any chemical processing. Blending the power of Ganoderma Lucidum with over 100 antioxidants and 200 phyto nutrients like triterpenoids, polysaccharides and Organic Germanium – perhaps the most therapeutic compound found in nature – with coffee, is nothing short of brilliant.

Coffee is the undisputed comfort beverage worldwide (greater than colas and teas combined) and is the top traded commodity, second only to petroleum. In North America alone, three-fourths of the population drinks 4 to 5 cups a day. Water alone is more popular. With its simple yet brilliant strategy, rather than changing habits, Gano Excel is using coffee to deliver health…one family at a time!

51 Year old Doug Hutchison marries a 16 Year Old!!

Now I'm pretty open minded about May-December marriages...but this one may be pushing the envelope a bit too far. From just hearing about the story, I would say that no parent should consent to the marriage of their 16 year old to a 50 year old. But then I saw the pictures of Courtney Alexis Stodden and Doug Hutchison...makes you wonder if she really is only 16 years old. But regardless of her looks, I don't think that she is mature enough to handle married life...some 30 - 50 year olds still aren't ready. But hey who can stop "true love".

How to Find the Perfect Gift For Your Father

Father's day is coming up, and we all know how difficult it is to find that perfect gift. Whether it's his birthday coming up or a gift 'just because', choosing the perfect gift for Dad isn't always obvious. While you could resort to the tie, cufflinks, and baseball cap, there are a lot more interesting things you could get for him. Here are some ideas.

1. Spend time with him. Time is definitely the greatest gift of all and something we each have the power to bestow. Spend time with him doing things you know he'll appreciate, such as going for a walk, climb, or hike together; going fishing, cycling, or sailing together; watching a movie together; visiting an art gallery or museum; attending a sports match. Choose whatever you're sure he'll enjoy and make sure there is time to just chill and talk together.

2. Fulfill his dreams. If you're able to afford an expensive gift, try an experience gift. This sort of gift involves purchasing an experience that is not your ordinary activity. Think racing a car on a racetrack, skydiving from a plane, going for a balloon ride, taking a fighter pilot flight, doing a bungee jump, etc. You know your Dad best, so you'll know what experience he would find simply awesome and breathtaking. While it's costly, it will be a gift he's never going to forget!

3. Bring someone into his life who he hasn't seen for ages. Arrange for an old army buddy, a long lost school friend, a cherished and admired mentor, or someone else he cares about to turn up for the day. Organize the travel, the accommodation, and the day's activities so that it all proceeds according to plan. Be sure to call this person another name when talking to family about them, so that your Dad is thrown off the scent! Great ways to get in contact with that person might be through facebook.

4. Give a gift that keeps arriving. Month clubs can bring many surprises to Dad's door, with monthly shipments of all sorts of goodies such as chocolate, books, cigars, wine, cookies, pies, barbecue sauces, gourmet delicacies, and other delights. It's not something he's likely to arrange for himself, so indulge him.

5. Write him a letter of thanks and appreciation. while this isn't something that costs money, it is priceless and he'll love it. Thank him for the things he has done for you and be sure to specify precise things that have happened in the past year in which you felt he has supported you, cared for you, and made you feel special. Tell him that you're proud of him and that you're incredibly happy to have him as your Dad. This is the sort of gift that will make his day.

6. Do something he has been asking you to do but you haven't yet done. Clean out the pool or gutters, sweep the yard, put away your junk, bring him the quotes or information he's been asking for, show him your trip photos, etc. Whatever it is that you've been putting off doing at his request, do it!

7. Consider a corny gift. Once in a while, a gift that's a little saccharin sweet but fun can go down well, especially in tandem with a decent gift. Such gifts can be mugs, t-shirts, badges, and other trinkets that have messages about great dads, and similarly worded Dad pride. Have fun with this one and give it in the spirit of having a laugh together.

Arnold Schwarzenegger's love child

It is so sad that Arnold Schwarzenegger had cheated on his wife. His life is now being torn down slowly. First it was the clemency he had given to a convicted killer, and now his secret love child has been revealed. It is sad, especially for the child because he is now in the "unwanted" spotlight of being known as the love child of Arnold Schwarzenegger. But this should 'teach' others that you should not cheat on your spouse, because you never know what may happen!
